Horus the son of Isis is an ancient Egyptian tutelar (a guardian of a particular place or culture) deity with many functions, mostly known as a god of the sky, war and hunting. Usually depicted as a falcon-headed man wearing a red and white pschent which is a double crown worn by the rulers of Egypt which is symbolic of kingship over the entire kingdom of Egypt.
