Sound and Silence

In this mindfulness meditation we explore "listening" to both sound and silence. After centering ourselves, we spend time focusing on the sound of a singing bowl and on the silence that remains when the sound of the bowl fades. Use this meditation to calm and center your mind through listening! Whenever your mind wanders or thoughts appear, bring your attention back to what you hear. What do you notice as you listen to the sound? What do you hear in the silence?
