Let go and create space with this cord cutting meditation.
Let go of limiting beliefs, cut energetic ties to a person, place or thing including ancestral patterns or family wounds with this guided cord cutting meditation.
A long time ago, my expectations, wants and desires were hindering me when it came to a particular situation. Even though I had done a lot of inner work I had trouble letting go and was suffering over my suffering. I was caught in a loop. Our brains can become addicted to chemicals that are released when we experience emotions. I needed a symbolic ritual.
Symbols can help us anchor a thought or action when we give it meaning. A generous spiritual counsellor sent me a recording of a cord-cutting meditation that guided me through a process with the intention to release myself from my attachment. This meditation and visualization not only relaxed my mind but was the symbolic gesture I needed at the same time. Remembering how important and effective this meditation was in the past, I decided to create one to share with anyone else who might be suffering over their suffering or who simply needed a ritual to start to make real lasting change.
Who is this meditation for and what does it do?
If you feel drawn back to an unhealthy relationship, or want to break negative patterns or addictions, or feel a strong psychic connection to someone that is draining your energy, a cord-cutting ritual may be beneficial. We can also feel stagnant or unable to move forward or away from something, liming our own personal development. Expectations from society and culture or maybe fearing change or feeling like we want to a 'good' person can hinder our growth and cause us to hold onto people, places, things or even ideas about something that no longer in alignment with our higher self. All of these ideas become forces that can keep us stuck in old patterns. That's why we designed this original meditation to guide you through a cord cutting process.
This meditation will guide you through symbolic gestures to cut energetic ties that bind you. You will have the opportunity during this meditation to choose what to cut away. For example, if your last relationship was unhealthy and you are ready for a new one you could cut away several things:
-your energetic attachment to that person
-limiting beliefs of what you think a partner should be
-old ancestral patterns or family wounds
Reclaim your power, let go and allow for someone or something new to come into your life or even just release yourself from the attachment in case you need time alone. You are a creator and the decider.
Headphones are recommended but, of course you can listen without them if they interfere with your comfort.

How frequently should this meditation be practiced?
You can do it once or frequently. You can use it to release your mental aka psychic energy from any situation or attachment to a person, place or thing. Cutting cords to a person doesn’t mean that you are cutting someone out of your life, it is cutting away attachment to what no longer serves you (i.e. codependency in a relationship.) This meditation helps you release attachments to the past and to what no longer serves you. But even more importantly it is creating space for new experiences and opportunities in your life and fertile ground to plant the seeds of intention. It opens you to new growth and experience for life to begin without the weight of those attachments. Cutting a cord can help you recharge your energy, feel a sense of peace. In the end, you are the decider.
